Gnostic Knights Templar

The Gnostic Knights Templar is a mystical chivalric Order in the Gnostic Universalist tradition, training Master Masons in the knightly virtues espoused by the Grand Military Orders of the past, such as the Knights Templar, the Knights of St John Hospitaller, and the Cathars.

The Lesser Noble Order operates in the Prefectory, the Encampment and the Templum Minor. It conveys the Degrees of Maitre Ecossais, Squire, and Knight of Three Grades.

The Greater Templar Order works in the Preceptory, the Chapel, the Templum Major, and the Grand Priory. It conveys the Degrees of Knight Templar, Preceptor, Prior, and Priest.

Members are expected to make a devoted study, not only of the arts of knighthood, heraldry and chivalry, but also the great noetic mysteries of the Gnosis, from which our noble Order draws its spiritual and metaphysical symbolism.

The Works are mystical, military and theurgical in nature.
